Gary’s Story

Hi, I’m Gary Foster, founder of Turning Point Career Services. I’m a career and life transition coach, nationally certified executive résumé writer, certified LinkedIn online profile expert.

I find it very energizing to engage with middle-management and executive-level professionals, especially in healthcare, who are looking for help as they face voluntary or involuntary career transition decisions.

As a former executive healthcare recruiter (18 years), I’ve observed and come to appreciate the complexities and challenges in the industry. This experience equipped me with a unique understanding of how to navigate a job change or career transition – a combination of skills and background rarely found amongst résumé writers and LinkedIn trainers.

The recruiting business exposed me to the pervasive lack of knowledge and poor preparation that most – even top-level executives – bring to the table when executing a job change or career transition. We remedy that at Turning Point Career Services.
