Our services include:
One-on-One Consult
The journey begins with a no-obligation 30-minute consultation to get acquainted and conduct a brief situational and preparedness analysis to determine the scope of your needs and if TPCS services are a fit. If you are comfortable that we are a match, we help you select the best package, initiate a service agreement, and set in motion the process designed to produce your highly customized and branded document portfolio.
In-Depth Personal Assessment
Once the service agreement is executed, the first – and most crucial – step is completion of a comprehensive Discovery Worksheet designed to gather the information about you that we need to showcase your uniqueness, talents, strengths, and achievements in your career documents. It’s the foundation for helping us help you stand out to the hiring community and position you to be found for that ideal opportunity.
Résumé Transformation
Upon receipt of the completed Worksheet, I will return an initial résumé draft within 7-10 business days which we will review and refine via a Zoom session using screen share. Typically, we produce a final document with no more than two Zoom sessions. The finished résumé will be provided in both MS Word and PDF formats and a copy of the finished résumé kept on file at TPCS should you ever need adjustments or update down the line.
LinkedIn Profile Optimization and Training
Once the résumé is complete, LinkedIn becomes the focus. In a two-step process using Zoom, we first help you understand what LinkedIn has become and the critical role it plays in building and communicating your brand. We then work together to optimize your LinkedIn profile drawing from our experience together in building out your branded résumé.
The second step is to elevate your understanding of how to use the power of LinkedIn to support your search. As a former recruiter and an experienced user of LinkedIn and its recruiting software, I am able to guide you in understanding how to leverage LinkedIn’s powerful algorithm to proactively seek out and make crucial connections and find hidden opportunities.
Cover Letters
Some say they aren’t necessary, a waste of time. I disagree.
While it’s true that not all recruiters or hiring managers pay attention to cover letters, many do. Most job seekers take the easy route and don’t bother with cover letters. I see them as a potential differentiator and an opportunity to demonstrate extra effort and deeper interest. It’s a “what have I got to lose situation” with good upside and no downside.
We help you develop two professional, properly formatted cover letters: one for a specific job application and one for dissemination to recruiters that you have targeted for connection and communication.
Executive Biography
An executive bio is a concise yet comprehensive one-page document highlighting key aspects of your professional journey, achievements, and personal attributes. It is useful tool to use as a personal marketing document and a substitute to use in place of sending a full résumé to a new connection. Or as a document to use as an introduction to a new strategic connection.
